I just wanted to write a quick note to tell you thank you for your awesome Study Guide and Mastering Multiple Choice Handbook. Before purchasing your study guides, I had already taken the test two times and failed. I can honestly say that your materials were great. Previous to having the guides, I studied misc. items left over from grad school (texts, handouts, etc). As you know, Social Work is such a broad field it was difficult to know what materials to focus on. In addition, the test questions themselves are tricky, in the sense that there seems to be two answers that seem to be correct. Your study guide helped teach me how to break the question down and to really focus on key words. In fact, for this last test I only studied from these two manuals and it worked. I also attended a workshop to assist with preparing for the test and I can honestly say that your guides were a lot more beneficial than the workshop. Anyway, just wanted to thank you again for a superb study guide.
I ordered the guide after failing the LMSW twice....I wanted a guide that was "affordable" so I decided to order The Complete Guide...this time I passed the exam!!
I have been out of school for several years and not taken an exam in quite a while. This strategic guide for clinical social work covered the content area of the exam well. Sample test questions were closer to what was on the actual exam than other study materials I ordered. Good preparation tool for one who is practicing clinical social work but who no longer has textbooks from grad school. Highly recommended comprehensive tool which helped me pass the first time!
